M.M. Kreem – RRR (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
Here’s a rare Hindi soundtrack from composer M. M. Kreem, primarily known for his work in the South Indian film music industry. RRR brims with epic arrangements and songs of togetherness (“Naacho Naacho”), anguish (“Janani”) and camaraderie (“Dosti”). While ace singer/composer Amit Trivedi adds distinctive character and celebrates friends on the latter, vocalist Raag Patel invokes the beauty of nature on the pastoral “Ambar Se Toda”. The stirring voices of Vijay Prakash and Chandana Bala Kalyan lead the rock-infused “Raamam Raaghavam” and there’s exuberant percussive energy on “Sholay”.
